Joel C. White

Joel White is Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Health with the House Committee on Ways and Means.  He has served on the Subcommittee since 2001 and has been involved with several legislative efforts including Medicare reform, Trade Adjustment Assistance health care tax credits, and HIPAA implementation.

Prior to joining the Committee, Mr. White served as a Legislative Assistant to Congressman James Greenwood (R-PA), and to Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT) and was involved in a variety of health care and social security issues including the passage of the Patient’s Bill of Rights, the Children’s Health Act, and the Clinical Enhancement and Improvement Act.

Mr. White graduated from American University with a degree in Economics and International Relations.
